Thanks all you blue-sky, cloud lovers. I come from a midwestern state with plenty of that slug’s underbelly sky and when I go “back east” I’m always a bit depressed and amazed at how gray the sky is. It’s blue here in southern Arizona, but over Red Rock country in northern Arizona it is turquoise (I swear!)

Very cool photo that, Vera – cacti and blue, blue sky as far as the eye can see. Up here, it’s Christmas vacation the entire week, so I’ll say a continued happy Christmas to you :)

Another stunning shot Vera! I envy you the blue skies. . .ours are gray again. A weather forecaster though gave them a Seattle-appropriate name: slug’s underbelly skies. See why I am envious of those AZ skies?

One of the great things to see in the Southwest are the nearly endless skies. Nice shot, Vera.
