Great post! I have seen many blogs regarding the travel of individuals in Canada, but a posting of a book was a first for me! i have heard many wonderful things about Newfoundland and definitely would love to go there some day.

Freezing/drowning in near frozen waters must be one of the horrible ways to perish. Yet we readof them all too often between fishing accidents, oil rig accidents and others. I definitely want to visit Newfoundland one day- as I have ‘roots’ there. This Novel sounds good too- I will download it on my nook.

You ask (regarding Moore’s February) how people like works with mostly internal dialogue and not much external action. I enjoy them…action is fun and keeps things moving along, but knowing what the character is thinking creates a different topography for the novel. By and large, I am good with it. No, I have never visited there. It's so gorgeous, I'd love to go someday. I've never read Lisa Moore, and while I do enjoy quality dialogue, I do need a little bit of action apart from the dialogue. But all action and poor dialogue isn't fun, either. And very interesting, the oil rig issue-- what a coincidence!
