The first book to be given away (announcement of winner on August 17):

Destination: Southwest U.S. and Mexico

Day of the Dead Skeleton Mariachi

Day of the Dead Skeleton Mariachi

Jack Ruby’s Kitchen Sink, by Tom Miller

This book about the Southwest was discussed on May 5th, to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. This book is autographed by the author, who is an accomplished travel writer. He has roamed the Southwest and the borderlands with Mexico for many years and brought his stories to many different publications.

(Couldn’t resist this image, even though it is Dia de los Muertos instead of Cinco de Mayo. Art from Lee Hanson, click picture to go to her page.)
